Security & Risks
Ensuring the safety of your assets and transparency in our process is a top priority. Below are the main risks to consider when using the platform, along with how we address them:
1. Smart Contract Risks
No Custom Smart Contracts: Our platform does not deploy or manage its own smart contracts. All liquidity operations are routed directly through established and audited Solana AMMs such as Raydium, Orca, and Meteora.
AMM Risks: While we rely on reputable AMMs, users are still exposed to the inherent risks of those protocols. Always review the security status and audits of any AMM before providing liquidity.
2. Impermanent Loss
What is Impermanent Loss? When providing liquidity to AMMs, changes in the price ratio of pooled tokens can lead to impermanent loss compared to simply holding the tokens.
How We Help: Our AI considers impermanent loss risk when recommending pools, but users should always be aware that it cannot be eliminated entirely.
3. Bridge Security (Zeus)
How Zeus Secures Your BTC: Zeus Bridge uses a combination of Hot and Cold Reserves, Taproot addresses, and a network of decentralized operators (ZeusNodes) for secure, permissionless BTC-to-zBTC transfers.
Risks to Consider: As with any cross-chain bridge, there are risks related to custody, consensus, and technical vulnerabilities. Zeus is designed to minimize these risks, but users should only bridge amounts they are comfortable with.
4. Market Volatility
Token Price Fluctuations: Both BTC and Solana-based tokens can experience significant price swings, impacting your portfolio value and yield.
Yield Variability: LP rewards and fees are variable and can change rapidly with market activity.
Summary
While our platform is designed for simplicity and security-leveraging only established protocols and bridges-DeFi always carries risk.
Do your own research.
Only invest what you can afford to lose.
Stay informed about the protocols you use.
